Year 1: Here We Are

In 1CJ, we are currently reading, “Here we are” by Oliver Jeffers.

The children have been exploring all aspects of the world, from earth and space, land and sea to animals and people. They have enjoyed diving into facts and linking this with their topic lessons.

Elijah says, “I have enjoyed exploring all the different parts of the earth in this book! It is nice to know more about the planet we live on and how we can look after it.”

Anna says, “We love reading this book! This week we have talked about how we are all people and we should all show kindness to each other. That was my favourite lesson.”

1CJ have laughed and smiled whilst reading this book! We are looking forward to exploring it more!
