It is that time of the term where we get ready for our poetry recitals! The children absolutely love the sense of achievement they get from learning their poem off by heart and performing it to the other children! There is always a lovely atmosphere at our poetry recitals. The children love hearing what poem the other classes across school have been learning! The children perform with such enthusiasm! Each year group has a different poem to learn. This term’s selection includes poems by A.A Milne, William Shakespeare, Maya Angelou and Alan Ahlberg!
