This term, Year 3 will be looking at Nellie Bly as part of their RESPECT curriculum. Nellie Bly is a celebrated journalist, travel writer and equality activist. She has explored many parts of the globe and travelled around the world in 72 days. Nellie Bly actively fought for equality and women’s rights. Children on a weekly basis will take part in missions which will focus on our RESPECT values.
Spellings are given out on a Thursday each week and should be practised for 10 minutes each day. A spelling test takes place every Tuesday (J1) or Friday (J2).
